SKIMCARE: Skin Plumping Smoothie Bowl


Recipe – Put the following in the blender

(Buy Organic whenever it’s within your budget)

• 1 Cup of Frozen Strawberries

• 1 Cup of Frozen Blueberries

• Tablespoon of Raw Cashew Butter

• 1 Cup of Plant Milk of Choice

• 1 Medjool Date (optional and add as many as you like)

• 1 Scoop of Collagen (We use plant-based but feel free to use Marine or Bovine – improves the appearance of skin, strengthens hair, nails & promotes metabolism)

• 1/2 a Teaspoon of Cinnamon

Method

Once the ingredients are smoothly blended to a firm texture that is either slow to pour out - or - needs to be scraped out with a silicone spatula, you’re in business!

Serve in your favorite bowl, and scatter your own desired toppings of some of our suggestions:

Local Bee Pollen (earthy sweetness, contains over 250 biological substances, including protein, carbs, fats,
vitamins, minerals, enzymes and antioxidants. The exact nutrient composition depends on the plant source and season collected)

Cacao Nibs (lots of energy, increases the levels of the hormones serotonin and dopamine in your brain)

Coconut Flakes (natural sweetness and some texture)

Chia Seeds (2 teaspoons for fiber, potassium, omega-3, iron, protein, magnesium)

Slivered Almonds (satisfying crunchy munchy protein and healthy fat)
